These galleries contain images of stations, depots, structures and other scenes in which a particular locomotive is not the centre of interest. It also includes images of railway employees and enthusiasts, where they are a main portion of the subject. Photos were taken during the British Railways operating era, from 1948 until the end of steam working in 1968. They infrastructure images are divided by BR geographical operating regions.
