King Arthur Class- 30770 SIR PRIANIUS Eastleigh

Maunsell N15 Class 4-6-0 No 30770 SIR PRIANIUS (one of the 'Scotch Arthurs' built by North British Loco Company in Glasgow) paired with its 8 wheel bogie tender, seen at Eastleigh, Hants, with Standard 4MT No 76061 beyond and a 'Hampshire' demu (Thumper) in the background. The loco, the last of the Class to remain in traffic, was waiting to take over the Southern Counties Touring Society 'South Western Limited' railtour for the run to Waterloo. 02/09/1962
