MN Class No 35008 ORIENT LINE passes Bincombe Tunnel Signal Box with the BR (SR) Farewell to Steam railtour from Waterloo to Weymouth 02/07/1967 It was a rare treat to see two beautifully prepared Merchant Navy class locos, (Nos 35008 and 35028) with number and nameplates restored and cleaned to perfection at Nine Elms for the last specials on the Southern.
