BR English Electric Type 3 Class 37/4 Co-Co No 37800 in Train load freight Coal Sector livery. Subsequently operated by Rail Operations Group, in 2023 the sixty year old loco had a ROG livery makeover for its Birthday, undertaken by Loram UK at their Derby RTC works, and in Partnership with locomotive owners Europhoenix, The locomotive originally entered service on 29/05/1963 as No D6843, allocated to 88A Cardiff Canton.A few years later the loco moved to Scotland, based at Polmadie 66A and then 65A Eastfield in 1968.
By 1974 the locomotive received its TOPS number 37143 and returned to Wales based first at Landore then back to Cardiff Canton once again. By 1977 it was on the move again first to Tinsley and then Immingham. In 1985 the locomotive received its 37/7 number of 37800. It was named 'Glo Cymru' in 1986 reflecting its role in the Coal sector. c.1992
