Adams O2 Class 0-4-4T No W26, yet to receive its WHITWELL name, shunts coal wagons at Newport, Isle of Wight. It had been LSWR/SR No 210 before being shipped to Ryde in June 1925 and is seen in this view still largely in mainland condition apart from the fitting of a Westinghouse pump just visible behind the smoke box. It still retains the original whistle, LSWR lamp sockets and will not receive the enlarged IoW bunker until September 1932 c.1926
