Adams O2 Class 0-4-4T No W31 CHALE stands forlornly at Ryde mpd following the end of steam working. She was retained beyond the end of steam to work engineering trains and was used one more time, on 28 February 1967, after this photo was taken, prior to being scrapped 18/02/1967
